My Precious Memories
I’m Praewa Jamjuntra, YFU 11. I went to Minnesotain in the U.S. for 9 months. I was so impressed by everything I learned, and I want to share my experience with you guys. My host family rocks! They are so nice. There were eight members in our house including my three sisters and one brother and my host father’s friend and his son, all of the children were the same age as me. So we lived together like friends and never fought.
I studied at Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists, or SPCPA. I’m so proud to have been a student at that school. I never dreamt that I would go to an art school and study dancing everyday! It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I froze at first when I knew that I had to study at this school, but later I found out that the school was so awesome that it was not scary at all. Everybody was so nice and I learned many new dances.
Nine months in America will always be one of my most precious memories. |

Hi!!!
I ‘m Prachara Chanduarn (Joe). I went to Germany last year and stayed in Kork, Kehl in the south of Germany. It is a very small town but it is a very nice place. I studied at Einstein Gymnasium, it’s like a high school in Thailand but I think the learning is better. In Germany I was a table-tennis and volleyball player. I really enjoyed it. I went to many places in Germany. It was a very good experience that I received. |

My year in France
I’m Sivapreeya Taweepanyasakul (Pair). I went to France with AFS last year. I stayed in Bourgogne which is very famous for its wine. It‘s a small town, but the people there are very nice. I studied at Lycee La Prat’s, a very small school which has only about 300 students – so different from Ratchaborikanukroh School. Everyone was very kind to me. I played basketball with the town team where I made a lot of friends and had a lot of great experiences. Also I learned to play Rugby which is very popular there. My host family was very nice. They brought me to visit many places like Paris and Aix-en-Provence in the south of France. I also went skiing for the first time in my life and now I can ski. My year in France was a good experience that I will never ever forget. |

May in Germany
My name is Supawadee or May; I was in Germany for 1 year with YFU exchange program. My city was Gotha , it’s in the center of the country, it was really beautiful town. My host family also was very nice and we got along together well, I love them. The food was really different with here in Thailand, same tasted so good but some not however, it could make me gain weight haha ^^. About my school,
I can say that it was perfect. I was always happy to be there (even it wasn’t so big as here) because of all my nice friend, very friendly teacher, and great activities. In my school, there were many exchange students from different programs and we were so close and always stayed together, I also had some best German friends.
Well, I felt so great there in Germany may be something in the program but I always thought that it made me stronger and stronger .
“I’ll never forget this experience and keep it forever and ever’’.

How do you feel about Ratchborikanukroh School?
I feel that Ratchaborikanukroh School is a great school to stay in. It offers a lot of options about what one can study. You can learn pretty much any subject you desire to. We have the chance to learn many subjects that have to do with Thai culture, and that is great. Teachers are also very good, caring and one can see that they enjoy teaching. They would do it even in their free time if asked to! Also the students seem to be quite united and like to help each other. Overall it is a great environment to stay in, it is very joyful and I’m happy to be here.
How do you feel about Thai people?
I feel very lucky to have the chance to be around Thai people. They are very kind and friendly. They like to make us feel welcome in their country and they would smile a lot. Thai people are very caring and helpful; in fact if you have a problem they will try to solve it with you. They like to share things and offer a lot of great food!! They want you to be happy! Finally they are very joyful and would enjoy every simple thing of life. |

How do you feel about Ratchaborikanukroh School?
This is a very big school with a lot of students who always try to talk to me, that ‘s cute! I think it is interesting to meet so many people all together, even if sometimes I get confused with all their names!!
Anyway here there are a lot of subjects that in Italy I can’t do and I am glad to discover new things to do! I feel good because I’ve just met some friends and classmates and this is fine!
I hope to learn more Thai language soon, so I will talk more with teachers and students.
How do you feel about Thai people?
It is a really difficult question because I’ve met a lot of people so far, but they are all different from each other!! I can say that everyone always smiles kindly and try to talk to me, so I think they are really pleasant people!!
It is interesting to see how different they live and I ‘m very curious to know more about Thai people!
Any way they are nice with me and I hope to be the same with them! |

How do you feel about Ratchborikanukroh School?
I enjoy seeing the differences between my school in America and my school in Thailand, for example at Ratchaborikanukroh the students stay in one class and the teachers move, while in America the students change rooms every 80 minutes. I also like how many choices Ratchaborikanukroh offers. I can choose what I want to do during gym (dance, table tennis or swim) and I can take Thai culture classes (cooking, boxing) I am very excited to spend a year at this school.
How do you feel about Thai people?
The Thai people have been very nice and helpful. People often smile and talk to me. They have helped me learn more of Thai language. Thai people always seem to be happy. They are always smiling and laughing. That is one of the things I like most about Thai. |
